Telecommunication Infrastructure

REL’s telecommunication infrastructure business is backed by local steel & related accessories suppliers, where steel is easily available & procured in less than 48hrs from Purchase Orders. The steel is then inspected by our Quality Department to ensure conformity with the design analysis & with the international standards and kept safely by the Procurement & Stores Dept.

Our communication towers & accessories are produced with unmatched attention to detail, welds are inspected & structures pre-assembled to ensure all the tower members are manufactured to the designed specifications. Our towers & accessories are then hot-dip galvanized to BS 729 (min µ = 85) after fabrication to assure years of corrosion-free in use.

The galvanization services are out sourced from the best galvanizing plants found locally. In this process, REL towers & accessories are immersed, each section of the tower or accessory in molten zinc, inside and out, until it’s completely covered. Hot dip galvanizing protects all points of welding and construction against rust and corrosion while providing an attractive finish.

The Quality department, using the galvanic tester, carries out galvanic thickness test to ensure the thickness is to standard and they are also charged with issuing a Galvanization Certificate to the Client.
